Description Jonathan Manning 2007-04-27 19:03:40 UTC
The file at: http://distfiles.gentoo.org/distfiles/naim-modules-0.0.11.7.2-2004-07-20-0047.tar.bz2
Is actually a text file from a temporary error on the primary mirror.
The correct file is currently available from the source url.

The metadata was generated with the bad file - so this passes checksum. The expected filesize in gentoo is 146 - the corrupt text file, not 206996 like the real bz2 file.

Please delete and update distfiles.gentoo.org and update the digest/filesize.

I can download the bz2 file directly, ebuild digest, and all is OK (well, it fails later on amd64, but thats another issue...)

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
emerge -av naim-modules

Actual Results:

The ebuild needs to adjust the SRC_URI to be:

SRC_URI="http://site.n.ml.org/download/20061022174659/naim/${PN}-${MY_PV}.tar.bz2"
Comment 2 Jonathan Manning 2009-08-05 16:35:58 UTC
Still broken, 2 years later.
No longer relavent - Package obsoleted by bumped naim package, now at 0.11.8.3.1.
Package should be removed / retired. 0.11.7.2 has security issue in http parsing.

Corrupt distfile and incorrect checksum (well, correct checksum of invalid file) still exist in portage & distfiles.gentoo.org.

Feel free to close, but it should really be replaced with a remove request. At least remove that bogus file and checksum...
