I leave "alltray evolution" process running when shutting down the machine. When I log on next day EDS starts and crashes. 

Using:
[I] gnome-extra/evolution-data-server
     Installed versions:  1.8.3-r2(17:48:20 2007-04-26)(-debug -doc -ipv6 -kerberos -keyring -krb4 ldap nntp ssl)

[I] gnome-extra/evolution-webcal
     Installed versions:  2.8.0(23:55:59 2006-09-22)(-debug)

[I] mail-client/evolution
     Installed versions:  2.8.3-r2(2.0)(18:58:59 2007-04-26)(-bogofilter crypt dbus -debug -doc hal -ipv6 -kerberos -krb4 ldap -mono nntp pda -profile spell ssl)

your backtrace looks different in how it is triggered and what exactly happens with you hit this bug. I believe they are different issues and this one has to do with some timezone problems that has been fixed since then.

Could you try evolution-data-server-1.8.3-r5 or better yet, get the 1.12 and the rest of the gnome-2.20 desktop ?
