pgpool 3.1.1 is marked as the latest stable release on the pgpool project page (listed in the URL), but it isn't yet in portage. I'm using a quick-hacked ebuild of the current latest version in portage, 3.0.1. It's been in production on a postgresql db server for well over a month now and is working fine. A proper ebuild in portage would be great. Reproducible: Always
Created attachment 117319 [details] working ebuild This is nearly identical to the 3.0.1 ebuild, with the download link changed and "~x86" changed to "x86". Again, this has currently worked without problems.
chtekk, dev-zero, mjolnir: Please fix the metadata.xml to match the bugzilla alias as currently postgresql@gentoo.org does not match anything and we are soon moving to an automated system of bug reassignments.
pgpool-3.4 is in portage now. Thanks.
