It may be worth noting that I have not emerged anything since executing those commands requested, and I noticed PortageXS.pm and /PortageXS in / So something else installed into root. I'm alittle afraid of emerge sync'ing or anything at this point. I have not modified any ebuilds, my make.conf, portage.keywords, etc are precisely the same as when the system was first setup (1.5yrs ago) I do regular emerge sync's (bi-weekly) and update everything possible and follow it with an etc-update.
I honestly don't know how to handle this bug. I'm looking and reading thru it from time to time.. but.. no clue so far. Anyone else?
Hope it's not too late to ask for output from `perl -V`... Was this issue solved? It really makes no sense :-)
Apparently noone can reproduce this; feel free to reopen if you can tell us what's the problem.
Seems like perl was updated but modules not... perl-cleaner --all should fix this issue...
