Description Jason 2007-04-24 20:02:57 UTC
Open a samba from a Windows Vista and attempt to delete a
folder. Windows shows the folder as deleted. Refresh the share window and the
folder reappears. No problem deleting a folder from the share using Windows
XP.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a folder
2. Create another folder inside
3. In Vista, connect to the samba share and delete the top folder.
4. Hit refresh and the folder comes back.

Samba.org has a patch for this issue for 3.0.24 and 3.0.25 contains the fix. Please update the ebuilds to include this fix

Sorry, you'll have to wait for 3.0.25 to be released. But I'll see that the second release candidate finds its way into the tree soon.
