Have you tried again? That sounds awfully like a hardware issue. Also this is not major since you're running ~sparc.
keep having align problems recently. What's due to? I re-tried and it worked
It's probably safe to assume it's not ram - most sun sparc boxes use ecc ram and you'd know. More likely a processor, hard disk or motherboard issue.
