Description Henrik Lynggaard Hansen 2003-03-15 17:13:54 UTC
In tyhe installation guide for 1.4 rc2, there was for the bootstrap process a
simple time estimate of the time to complete this step.

it said something like "On my 1 Ghz p3 this takes around 2 hours"

I would like such references in all the steps for the installation, or at least
for those where you leave the computer alone. It need not be something complex,
just a simple reference to the time it takes on a reference machine like a 1ghz p3

Reproducible: Always

The rc2 guide is deprecated, and these benchmark times are ambiguous, since they could change from computer to computer. Having times listed that are false are just as bad as none at all.
