Removes the -Wno-pointer-sign flag from Makefile.in

This problem is due to the fact that gcc-3.4.6 doesn't support the warning suppression flag -Wno-pointer-sign. You can either upgrade to a new version of gcc or use this patch to remove the flag.

Adds the patch to the tagtools-0.12.3 ebuild

Apply this patch to update the ebuild to use the previous patch in comment #2 as long as you put the -Wno-pointer-sign.patch in your files/ directory.

err I meant comment #1, sorry.
Comment 4 Renato Alves 2007-04-24 19:53:13 UTC
I have both gcc 3.4.6-r2 and 4.1.1-r3 installed on the system, I guess defaulting to the gcc-4 version could also solve this problem.

Anyway, the patch seems to solve the problem.

I also took the bug and did the upgrade to gcc 4.1. Tagtool builds fine with 4.1.1-r3 without any patch.

Thanks for your time.

Marking it as fixed.

The patch is not in the portage tree
