The app-emacs/sml-mode-4.0 emerges properly on ppc after adding the ppc flag to the ebuild Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:
This isn't an xemacs package, cc'ing the GNU emacs people instead. FWIW, sml-mode for xemacs can be found as app-xemacs/sml-mode and is already keyworded for PPC.
I made some changes to the site-start mechanism of the package: "sml-mode-startup.el" is no longer pasted into the sitefile, but loaded from there. Konrad: Could you please re-sync and test if it still emerges and runs properly? Please reopen the bug then. Thanks in advance.
As requested - verified again, and still appears to work OK
(In reply to comment #3) > As requested - verified again, and still appears to work OK Thank you. PPC team: Please add your keyword. To test: Open file "testcases.sml" (included with the package). "M-x font-lock-mode" should give you syntax highlighting. "info sml-mode" for documentation.
Created attachment 122254 [details] build.log Fails test on ppc
(In reply to comment #5) > Fails test on ppc According to BUGS, testcases.xml contains also some problematic cases. So upstream is well-aware of the failing "make test". Added RESTRICT=test.
~ppc'd
(In reply to comment #7) > ~ppc'd That was quick. ;) Thanks.
