Description Philip Walls (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-03-15 10:21:10 UTC
I've created a new pysoulseek package upgrading to 1.0.0, it is considered
'stable', so it should be okay to take it out of 'testing' at least for x86

I have also updated the ebuild to apply the current (hyriand-11) patch by
Hyriand that adds search filtering, name highlighting in chat, and much more.

Tantive was kind enough to provide a quick fix yesterday by checking in an
identical ebuild named pysoulseek-1.0.0 to fix a 404 error with the
pysoulseek-0.4.11 package.

I have a feeling a version bump is necessary since we are in fact adding quite a
bit of functionality with this patch. Perhaps pysoulseek-1.0.0-h11 ? (11 being
the current patch revision)

Reproducible: Always

hyriand's patch to pysoulseek-1.0.0

The ebuild looks for this in the FILESDIR of pysoulseek

do you know if this works on wxPython-2.4.0.2 or above?

for some reason the old pysoulseek's were pegged at 2.4.0.1
