I'm not sure if it is what You mean: 1. # ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="x86" emerge xstroke Emerges fine. 2. $ xstroke -b 3 You should see warning about permision denied to open files in /var/log (it's ok) and a small pencil icon should appear in systray. Option '-b 3' enables mouse gestures only when 3rd mouse button is pressed. 3. Press the icon to enable capturing mouse gestures. Icon should change somewhat. 3. Hold down 3rd mouse button and try painting something on the screen (for example inside console You run xsroke). You should see line drawn on the screen. 4. Release mouse button to finish gesture. If You are drawing in the console, letters should appear. In web browser, pages could change to previous and next if You draw straight horizontal line.
