Regarding 1) works for me (on x86), I remember an odd bug though: Try clicking on Konquerors "Update plugins" button in the preferences -> plugins. The applied patch doesn't even relate to the way the plugins are invoked. Same for 2) There's not a bit of code changed regarding kfmclient/Konqueror from -r1 to -r2. Definitely a local problem.

Hm, it's an eclass issue. As a workaround you can replace the line postprocess_desktop_entries in kde.eclass with a colon or you wait a while and sync again.

Regarding comment #6, it's unlikely KDE 3.x will every comply to the relevant freedesktop.org specs. It's just too old stuff and KDE uses even files with .desktop extension, that aren't really desktop entries. I've lessened the output of these automatic checks. Regarding your Flash issues, it wouldn't be bad, if you point us to your problematic site. As I said, it's fine here.
hmm, i was just wondering, because in previous kdebase releases i never got those ".desktop" errors. it is the 1st time i see this with -r2 OTOH, everything works as far as i can see. well, noticed this on a couple of myspace sites (that used to work with firefox). i will check them out later this day or tommorrow. weather is far tooo nice right now ;)
all seems fixed. seems the problem was @myspace.com. anyway, thanks for fixing this konqueror desktop stuff, yours help was highly appreciated.
