The latest version will be available at

http://overlays.gentoo.org/proj/sunrise/browser/sunrise/sci-biology/amos

NB: This is a huge package. I haven't really tested it, since I don't have any huge genomes to assemble, and it has hundreds of parts. There may be dependencies I haven't catched, please look out for those. The two dependencies in the ebuild are put as instructed by the README.

Also, make chokes when MAKEOPTS=jN where N>1, hence "emake -j1" in ebuild. Upstream has been notified.

To add to the initial entry: I've been working with this package, and the ebuild works fine. All the core executables are completely functional.
