I use this version since Tue Feb 13 on my amd64 without any problem. Reproducible: Always
I'm still using this version on a amd64 box with this uptime ... # uprecords # Uptime | System Boot up ----------------------------+--------------------------------------------------- 1 26 days, 22:24:45 | Linux 2.6.19-gentoo-r5 Wed May 30 22:25:07 2007 2 19 days, 04:38:58 | Linux 2.6.19-gentoo-r5 Sun May 6 17:46:40 2007 -> 3 14 days, 15:56:21 | Linux 2.6.19-gentoo-r5 Sat Jun 30 18:55:09 2007 4 13 days, 20:51:59 | Linux 2.6.19-gentoo-r5 Sat Apr 7 21:32:25 2007 5 13 days, 19:40:02 | Linux 2.6.19-gentoo-r5 Sun Apr 22 21:09:00 2007 6 11 days, 23:07:31 | Linux 2.6.19-gentoo-r5 Mon Mar 26 19:52:15 2007 7 11 days, 18:52:48 | Linux 2.6.19-gentoo-r5 Wed Mar 14 23:55:37 2007 8 11 days, 05:20:44 | Linux 2.6.19-gentoo-r5 Sat Mar 3 18:23:32 2007 9 4 days, 23:45:11 | Linux 2.6.19-gentoo-r5 Fri May 25 22:27:23 2007 10 3 days, 21:44:22 | Linux 2.6.19-gentoo-r5 Tue Jun 26 21:03:52 2007 and I have no problem. Can you make this stable ?
good idea. AT please make electricsheep 2.6.8 stable. it has been in the portage tree for over a year without bugs and is the latest upstream release. test plan. 1 emerge electricsheep 2 electricsheep 3 (wait a bit - it takes a bit to download/generate the first sheep) 4 watch the sheep dream.
AMD64: Compiles fine. Does not work properly with xscreensaver for me, see bug #182894
thanks Simon. Holding off until bug 182894 resolved
2.6 is "broken" as the upstream servers are gone. 2.7 should be the next stabilization target.
