Description Bardur Arantsson 2003-03-14 12:00:14 UTC
Hi there, (tired of hearing from me yet :-?)

I've just created an ebuild for pomap-2.9.0 which is a Partially Ordered Map ADT
implementation for O'Caml. The ebuild which is attached was a straightforward adaptation of
the dev-ml/pcre-ocaml ebuild, and has been tested on my own system with no apparent
problems.

P.S. As with pcre-ocaml it would probably be a good idea to mirror the package on the Gentoo
servers since the author has a habit of removing old versions of packages from his FTP.

Hi Bardur.

Thanks for your submission!
I have processed and committed the ebuild. Please test.
BTW I had to bump version to 2.9.1. I also mirrored the source.

Now some organizational stuff:
I've processed quite a number of your ebuilds, and for the most part they just worked :). Also as I see pretty much all ebuilds in dev-ml category had you behind at their submission.
So, guess what I am going to propose ;). Would you like to become a developer?
You could be in charge of dev-ml category and perheaps caml-related ebuilds?
Just think, you won't need to wait for me to get to your ebuilds, so that everything in dev-ml can be committed and updated in a timely manner...

George

Hi George,

Unfortunately, I have to many things on my hands already, so I'm not really sure
that being a developer would be a good idea. Thanks for the offer though. :)

I will of course still be submitting ebuilds and new versions of packages as time
allows, but the number/frequency will probably be dropping a bit -- hopefully you
won't get too annoyed with me. :)

Hi Bardur.

Well, I am not too glad to hear that ;), but what else I can do other than to close this bug then :).
Thanks for all your involvment anyway!
