hmm....ClustalX is what I normally use, but this might be a nice change.
I'll check it out.

Be advised, they have a visualization tool on their website, apparently cgi-based, with a separate package. I'm not sure how useful it is as a local install so I haven't made an ebuild for it. You can paste the program's output to be visualized on the website.

Also, for the record, I was very tempted to change the "CFLAGS = -O9" in the Makefile to "-O11 --omg-optimized"
