Hello,

I know it's late in game, but would you please consider including this small section in the 2007.0 PPC64 handbook? It makes it simpler for first time PowerPC64 users to decide if they want 32bit or 64bit stages.

I would stick it right before the section where you download the stage tarball, but if docs team decides that another place is better, then that's fine with me.

Regards,

-markus

What can you tell me about which userland you can boot with on the universal and minimal CDs? What kernel parameters for 32bit and 64bit? Are both userlands available on the universal (networkless) CD?

thanks for the attachment; i added this stuff just before burning and booting a livecd/package cd of choice, as this does affect what users download. less of an issue in the networked install, i suppose, but it's a decent enough place to put all this ppc64-specific info.

fixed in cvs.
