Alex will work on beryl, compiz, xgl. He is also interested in getting top notch desktop applications into the main tree. For example he will maintain knetworkmanager. He mentioned that he might possibly also end up in the kde and/or gnome herd (he uses both) after recruiting.

I will take this one. After genstef approves send the quizes to recruiters@gentoo.org then we will schedule a review session on IRC. We can do them one at a time or at once.
Petteri, when I make it to being a dev, tsunam and I will be working on it together. Right now he's my proxy maintainer for beryl, and works with me on that.
I have talked with him about both the ebuild and the end of mentoring quiz. He has forwarded both to the recruiters.
Sorry about the bit of a lag in responding. The quiz interview was last weekend. After the quiz review I sent the review log to other recruiters because multiple developers expressed concern about nesl247 before the review session. After reviewing the review log we as a team are not confident enough to give you developer status at this time but instead would like you to work/keep working with for example genstef and having him proxy commit your work. The main reason for this decision is to prevent personality clashes and our concern about the hands on approach without reading documentation. But I would like to keep the door open to revisiting your developer status when/if developers who interact with you are confident that the observations are not correct any more. Please contact me or other recruiters on IRC if you want to know further details.
