When I open a playlist for streaming radio, audacious wont accept other commands before it has connected to an URL. Its like this: 1) I open a playlist but it turns out that the links are not in existence anymore. 2) I open an other playlist of another radio station, but audacious doesnt quit connecting to the previous one. So i have to wait till it does. 3) In this period the audacious gui also hangs. Reproducible: Always Expected Results: Quit connecting to the first playlist and start connecting to the second immediately.
This is normal behaviour for the curl plugin. Feel free to submit a patch that moves such probes to a completely separate thread. Do so in the upstream bug tracker which has been linked in the URL field for your convenience.
