Description Lionel Cordesses 2007-04-13 17:08:42 UTC
emerge --sync
emerge --update --deep --newuse world
Then reboot. The problem is a warning at boot:
please use 'update-modules' from now on; 'modules-update' is going away
* using /etc/modules.autoload.d/kernel-2.6 as config

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Update to  sys-apps/baselayout-1.12.9
Reboot the computer.

The problem is described in the gentoo forum (along with the solution, which is to edit /etc/init.d/modules and to replace /sbin/modules-update by /sbin/update-modules.
