Document that arguments are passed to emake (at least they are in portage 2.1.2.3, alternatively explicitly document that no arguments should be passed to einstall). Document whether it calls die on failure or not.
i think the document should just read "unless otherwise noted, no command calls die on failure"
also, people call einstall with additional arguments so that needs to be allowed
