thunar-archive, thunar-thumbnailers, thunar-volman as well as ffmpegthumbnailer all have ~ppc64 but not ~ppc. I haven't finished installing yet but suspect if these work on ~ppc64 they should either work or have a workaround on ~ppc. Reproducible: Always
We do not assume in the PPC herd. We test. I have used thunar-volman for several days now and I know it to be working. The same can't be said of the thumbnailers and the archive manager, so that will be keyworded after more testing.
The archive and thumbnailer both work. How do I test volman ? I had to downgrade ffmpeg for ffmpegthumbnailer to build. There has been a change in ffmpeg where int64_c is no longer defined there but I haven't learned where to place the following for the packages which require them. #define INT64_C #define __STDC_CONSTANT_MACROS #include <stdint.h>
(In reply to comment #2) > How do I test volman ? You enable it in the Advanced Tab of the File Manager properties. No real need for it though, I already keyworded that package in response to this bug: <CIA-11> chainsaw * gentoo-x86/xfce-extra/thunar-volman/ (thunar-volman-0.1.2.ebuild ChangeLog): <CIA-11> Keyword ~ppc for bug #174229. Tested with GCC 4.1.2 on PowerBook 5,9; XFCE 4.4.1 environment. <CIA-11> (Portage version: 2.1.2.3)
