How much memory/swap do you have available ? maybe same as bug #14142 ?
1GB RAM/1GB swap (enabled :) Besides, I don't see a core dump here. For some reason xc/lib/font/fontfile/encparse.o is built incorrectly. There's also some complaining about libXfont.a during the build...
Um, so this is obviously an xfree-4.3.0-r1 build failure. I don't know if I was overtired or what when I filed this. gcc-3.2.1-r6? I've changed the summary line to reflect the correct package. *sigh*
Brian, can you try -r2 please?
brian?
Present. Sorry about that. This bug had just slipped under my radar. Well, to be honest I think a week or so after filing this bug -r1 just worked for me. I really can't tell you what in particular made it work. -r2 does work for me as well after unmerging xft. Again, I apoligize for the delay on updated this bug.
No worries, glad it's sorted.
