Please test and stabilize gmpc-0.14.0, which has huge UI and performance improvements over currently stable gmpc. media-libs/libmpd-0.13.0 will need to be marked stable as well, as it is a dependency. It does have one bug open (#169503), but that is a long-standing issue that has been here long before libmpd, and will be here until upstream rewrites the resolving part of libmpd to handle ipv6 vs. ipv4 correctly - so it's not a regression.
