Description Doug Shea 2002-04-13 15:55:45 UTC
This is an update to the latest complete pre-release of the transcode package.
This version has many more features than the 0.5.3 version currently in Gentoo,
specifically much greater support for NTSC-format DVDs. I used the same
dependencies as the current 0.5.3 .ebuild.

The _pre5 and full 0.6.0 should be out soon, but I wanted to use emerge to
install the current version, so I cooked up the .ebuild file for it; I thought I
might as well submit it to the project. Is there a problem with submitting the
_pre5 when it comes out in a couple weeks, and/or _pre6 a few weeks after that,
and/or 0.6.0 a few weeks after that? Is that too many too fast, and I should
just wait for the 0.6.0 final?

Thanks for your input, and for such a seriously awesome Linux distro!

For some reason, it won't let me upload a new attachment, in either Mozilla or
Konq; keeps saying the file is empty. If you could add to the dependencies if
this ebuild "media-libs/libdvdread", that would be excellent. Thanks.
