I have the same problem.
My md5sum is:
ed9d30d9162d16ac8d5065cde6e0f6fa

After a redownload from a different server I still get this md5. Completely unrelated servers also have this md5. ftp://ftp.macomnet.ru/.1/CTAN/obsolete/systems/unix/teTeX/3.0/distrib/tetex-texmf-3.0.tar.gz.md5sum
Comment 3 Steven Oliver 2007-06-03 18:20:19 UTC
Its been a while since I've looked at this, but once again I decided I needed kile so I emptied my cache of downloaded files from portage and it made through the digests okay after re-downloading (though it still won't compile). I don't know if the problem is solved or not, but I at least got a package downloaded that passed the digests.

Cannot reproduce, noone complained for over 3 months -> closing.

This is still happening for me, emerging tetex-texmf-3.0.tar.gz with "../usr/local/portage/kuro-2006-08-26/profiles/kurobox/"

In case you don't know, kurobox is a hackable linux NAS which I have put gentoo on. That is the latest profile available for it.

If I'm not mistaken, thats usually due to a failed download that portage didn't resume properly. Empty your download cache and try again.
