When using gnucash or qbankmanager to access my bank accounts libofx would fail because of the APPVER line submitted to the bank. aqbanking wizard was able to submit the info, but could not login due to this issue. I was able to properly get my bank info when I changed the APPVER from 1200 to 1600 in libofx-0.8.3/lib/ofx_request.cpp I have attached the patch and ebuild I used to fix this issue. I'm not sure what effect this change would have on other users ability to access their bank info, but it worked for me. FYI I was connecting to BB&T. I was able to find the the appropriate version by modifying ofx-ba.py from http://www.jongsma.org/gc/ and using the info used to setup gnucash http://wiki.gnucash.org/wiki/Setting_up_OFXDirectConnect_in_GnuCash_2 Reproducible: Always

maybe fixed with the version bump to 0.9.0. Could somebody please test?
Is this a issue with dev-libs/libofx-0.9.1 ?
