Description Pablo De Nápoli 2007-04-04 23:51:16 UTC
Trying to run dosemu-1.3.4 on the console
as a normal user failed, with
the following message

ERROR: term support not compiled in or not found:
ERROR: /usr/lib/dosemu/libplugin_term.so: no se puede abrir el fichero del obje
ERROR: Terminal (S-Lang library) support not compiled in.
Install slang-devel and recompile, use xdosemu or console dosemu (needs root) i

xdosemu works

When building configure displayed the following messages:

checking slang.h usability... yes
checking slang.h presence... yes
checking for slang.h... yes
checking for SLtt_get_terminfo in -lslang-2... no
configure: WARNING: No S-Lang library found.

I do have slang sys-libs/slang-1.4.9-r2 installed
on my system.

After installing sys-libs/slang-2.0.6 (which is currently
masked!) I succed to work in a console

So that the dependency in the ebuild

">=sys-libs/slang-1.4"

is wrong, and should be

">=sys-libs/slang-2.0"

(This issue is caused by the
patch dosemu-1.3.4-slang2.diff)

Reproducible: Always
