This bug submits an ebuild for ntpclient, a minimal ntp client suitable for low powered or embedded machines.

This is the only file required. I suggest the net-misc package group.

Could you confirm that this ebuild works for you? It works correctly with LDFLAGS="-Wl,--as-needed", which the previous ebuild did not. I'm not entirely happy with the way I ended up setting LDFLAGS from the ebuild, but any other way causes a link failure.
It also builds adjtimex and installs the documentation that I found to be relevant. I was thinking about suggesting "ntpclient -s -h yourhost.here" in an elog message, as the default is a bit of a sitting duck mode.

Submitter doesn't seem to care about the ebuild right now. Please reopen once you have tested it.

Sorry, I must have missed your patch. I will try it again sometime this week.
