In between code example 2.9 and 2.10 the following sentence is in the install guide for Gentoo/FreeBSD "After you got hold of the Gentoo/FreeBSD overlay, it's time to link /etc/make.profile to the correct profile and add get your /etc/make.conf ready for Gentoo/FreeBSD." I think this should be changed to "After you get hold of the Gentoo/FreeBSD Portage tree, it's time to link /etc/make.profile to the correct profile and get your /etc/make.conf ready for Gentoo/FreeBSD." I changed overlay to Portage tree (as the overlay is optional, and the Portage tree contains the profile), as well as chaning got to get and removed add from the sentence where it wasn't needed. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/gentoo-freebsd.xml 2. Look at the first sentence between code sample 2.9 and 2.10 3.
Fixed the grammatical errors. However, I left the bit about overlay as-is, since that section is clearly about pulling in the (optional) overlay, and installing the portage snapshot is in the next section a few lines down. Fixed in CVS.
