Development in branch 1.1 of fltk has been proceeding in cvs only for a long time now. It's prudent to have a svn ebuild when one wants to stay updated.

OK, but I'm not talking about 2.0 branch here. I'm talking about 1.1.x which is much of an independent line nowadays. For many months there's been no release in 1.1.x line yet there's been a lot of development in SVN. In case you overlooked there are snapshots of 1.1.x and 2.0.x lines released SEPARATELY every week. Maybe there should be a special portage overlay server for live svn ebuilds, because in this case it's really useful to get a version from svn checkout.
As said, we won't be sticking live svn stuff into the tree, sorry.
