This IDE in gentoo portages is very outdated. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Make up this way: #svn checkout svn://svn.berlios.de/codeblocks/trunk make new ebuild file and copy to global portages, because it's not convenient to make portage all my friends and me I hope that soon codeblocks will be updated. I can help ;)

1.0-rc2 is very outdated, not the version in portage. 1.0-rc2 was released in october 2005 while the version in portage is a snapshot from svn repository made in january 2007

If you had a current snapshot on your mind why did you write 1.0_rc2 in the summary field? That was somewhat misleading. Anyway - I'll take care of that one. Do you recommend any particular revision?
