Could you please try with version 5.1.2 I just committed?
And maybe try to remove "-momit-leaf-frame-pointer" from C{CXX,}FLAGS as well as "sfperms strict" from FEATURES.
Thanks!

I tried that and I am still experiencing the same error.

I need to confirm this, but it appears the bz2 version is not the same at the gz version. This would be the cause of the problem I am experiencing.

Nope it is in the make files...for some reason the make is not creating the obj directory. I need to track down exactly why this is happening. If I compile directly it works fine. If I use the ebuild it tanks.

Comment 5 Brian Nisonger 2007-04-05 03:57:36 UTC
In order to make it work I removed the following lines:

  cat <<- EOF >> stlport/stl/config/user_config.h
        #define _STLP_NATIVE_INCLUDE_PATH ../g++-v$(gcc-major-version)
        EOF
Please let me know if they do anything critical.

Comment 6 Brian Nisonger 2007-04-11 03:38:18 UTC
This may be caused due to the new features of gcc 4.1.2 which I am using. Additonal testing may be required. I have installed this software and OpenOffice which it was a dependency for. If other people have this problem I recommend removing the lines I did from the ebuild which causes the configure to go to the default. This problem creeps up in STLport every so often usually with a change in GCC versions.
