While the emerge -NDu world the build stopped at jdepend-2.8.1 with:

Error: JAVA_HOME is not defined correctly.
  We cannot execute /opt/blackdown-jdk-1.4.2.03/bin/java

blackdown-jre-1.4.2.03-r13 is installed
blackdown-jdk is NOT installed.


Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge jdepend




Now I will install jdk and try again with jdepend.

... dev-java/blackdown-jdk-1.4.2.03-r12 merged

emerge jdepend 

.... BUILD SUCCESSFUL
Total time: 12 seconds

Seemes to be a problem with the ebuild file --> should there be a dependency to jdk?

Arches please mark dev-java/jdepend-2.9-r3 stable so that we can get rid of the old gen 1 cruft:
