when building openssh with USE=static:
/usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/4.1.1/../../../../x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/bin/ld: cannot find -lgssapi_krb5

Reproducible: Always

Unfortunately, it's an upstream bug in the 1.5 and 1.6 series.  1.4 is abandoned upstream, so not much we can do, I'm afraid.  If you catch upstream's attention, please let me know.
