php 5.1.6-r6 is not hard masked in my local portage, yet on the website it is hard masked. I last sync'ed 10mins ago. Looking at the changelog for PHP, there should also be other ebuilds that are stable, but instead they are all hard masked in the PHP 5.* line. Appeared masked because ebuilds were local-masked on the host server. Now passing local_config=False to portage.config. Should be fixed now. Thanks.
