Description David Gurvich 2007-03-29 13:12:20 UTC
Only error message refers to loose connections or power cables. Downgrading to hplip-1.6* fixes the error.

Reproducible: Always

Does this work with 1.7.4a? Can you please complain to the hplip devs about this regression?
Comment 4 Denis Dupeyron (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-07-22 15:30:01 UTC
Please test the new 2.7.6 release on your system (see bug #183022).

I'm closing this TEST-REQUEST. Feel free to reopen in case the issue still exists. In the meantime I'm not removing version 1.6.10 from the tree.

Denis.
Comment 5 Miguel Revilla Rodríguez 2007-07-23 00:10:55 UTC
The new 2.7.6 is working for me. Didn't detect the printer on first instance, but after running hp-setup to reinstall it, everything is going great.
