Description Gian Luca Dalla Torre 2007-03-26 17:21:56 UTC
When i try to burn CD with Brasero, after generating ISO with Mkisofs, it complains that the CD is alreay written (whic is not) and the gui returns to the main windows. Meanwhile CDRecord is waiting data and blocking my DVD Writer.

Launching brasero in Debug mode, i NOticed this log (see attachment)

Can Anyone help me on that issue?

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Launch Brasero and select CD DVD Data project
2. Fill the Tree with data
3. Burn the CD with default options

can you post your permissions ? ls -la /dev/(cdrwdevice) and see if your user is on cdrom, cdrw group.

If I use Nautilus Burner, GnomeBaker or even CdRecord directly I can burn without any problem.
I also tried to set suid to cdrecord but it has not solved the problem.

I tried also as root.
Same problem.

Do you have your system updated? Have you tried with a more recent kernel?

Good luck!
