Description Santiago Bruno 2007-03-26 06:48:53 UTC
Version 0.7.1 of kima should be added.
There is another bug report asking to stabilize 0.6.3.
But I think the last one is the more stable.
The webpage has the changelog.

Reproducible: Always

Does just renaming the ebuild work for you?

Yes, that's all you need to do.

Version 0.7.1 seems to work really well. Renaming the ebuild to kima-0.7.1.ebuild, putting it in my local overlay and manually downloaded the distfile from kde-apps.org (since it's not on any mirror - yet) works on ~amd64.

The new stuff implemented into kima like hddtemp works with HDDTEMP_OPTS="-l 127.0.0.1 -p 7634". Also uptime looks good.

It should have worked just with an emerge, since the ebuild has the SRC_URI from where to download the distfile. Maybe you cancelled the emerge, or have the wrong url, because after failing all the mirrors it should have downloaded from that address. It is SRC_URI="http://www.elliptique.net/~ken/${PN}/${P}.tar.gz"

Yeah. I know... I just didn't have the patience to watch every source fail... ;-)
