Description Hinrik Örn Sigurðsson 2007-03-25 15:41:11 UTC
The following lines were removed from the default /etc/mplayer.conf as of 1.0_rc2_pre20070321-r2, requiring the user to add them manually in order for OSD fonts (elapsed time, etc) to work. Why? This is very strange. It should definitely be enabled by default (the scaling options that were removed should be reinserted as well, otherwise the fonts are pretty big). Most users won't know how to enable this. These options aren't even in the comments.

fontconfig=1
subfont-osd-scale=4
subfont-text-scale=3

Fixed in -r3, and we're on -r4. Sync your tree and re-emerge, thanks.
