In the mean time, I've added your IP address (195.86.128.57) to the access list for rsync1.us.gentoo.org, our master rsync mirror. did a full rsync without any problems and verified the timestamps were correct. this server is now set up as rsync3.nl.gentoo.org. I've also subscribed mirror@nl.easynet.net to our low-volume gentoo-mirrors mailing list, where we discuss changes to the gentoo mirrorring system. Thanks again.
