DEPEND="=dev-libs/libol-0.2.23

I am running dev-libs/libol-0.3.9, and dev-libs/libole2-0.2.4.  It seems to work fine.  Is dev-libs/libol-0.2.23 specifically needed or just >=dev-libs/libol-0.2.23 ??

According to

    http://www.balabit.com/products/syslog_ng/upgrades.bbq

libol-0.2.23 is required for the 1.4.x series.  I'm hesitant to risk
this change for an older version now that I've marked 1.6.0_rc1-r1
stable.  Would upgrading to the latest syslog-ng solve the problem for
you?

If not, let me know, and we can investigate further.  If you would be
willing to verify that 1.4.x builds and runs well with the latest
libol, that would be sufficient for me to modify the ebuild.
