I use pure 64 bit Gentoo Linux with gcc-4.1.1-3. After 'emerge libvorbis' compilation fails very quickly on configuration stage with error: checking for C compiler default output file name... configure: error: C compiler cannot create executables See `config.log' for more details. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.emerge libvorbis Actual Results: Compilation fails on ./configure stage with error described above. Expected Results: Should pass configuration stage and start the compilation. Sorry, I have pasted some trash from clippboard. Problem is somewhere else. I found that I can't compile any package. I suppose that problem is somewhere betwee binutils/glibc and gcc. Sorry.
