I have had this before with kTorrent I think. I rebuilt the system a few times, and it didn't help. By now kTorrent works, but kdesvn doesn't work. Hi Richard. Can you please test one of the later versions? 0.11.1 is in the tree for a while and I am about to add the 0.11.2 George
Did that already. The cmake builds work without any problem :) I am using 0.11 already, and am happy with it =) Making it stable would be my advise therefore :)
Well, the later versions seem less stable in use unfortunately :(. I am going to see if 0.11.2 is any better, although it seems to be crashing on similar issues as 0.11.1, so I am not sure about marking it stable at this point. I guess I'll wait to see which one causes more bug reports.. What are your impressions of the stability during use (0.11 series as compared to 0.9)? Will keep this bug open for a bit as a reminder. George
It is quite stable, never crashed on me. But I am no poweruser. Will test it the next days, emerge it on other hosts also. Will post if something pops up.
Hello, I have used it now extensively and it never even did something it shouldn't, and never crashed. I am considering it stable, cannot find anything being problematic about it. I tried co, ci, up, mv, mkdir,... on different repositories on different machines, ~30 revisions on this weekend.
found a crash, reproducable: cd into a folder with SVN contents. add a file (eg. touch testfile) start kdesvn (kdesvn .) delete the file via the right-click menu. do a check-in *CRASH*
Arch teams: please stabilize the 0.11.2 version of the app. Only one (and tricky to trigger) run-time failure report is not bad for the app in heavy development. Anyway (and most importantly) this seems to be the most stable version so far (possibly save for 0.12 that was just added, but that would one needs some real life testing first). At least it is definitely less problematic than the presently-stable one, about which this report was filed. George
x86 stable
amd64 done :)
