I can post the entire build log if needed.

Comment 2 SpanKY gentoo-dev 2007-03-24 07:21:43 UTC
does it fail at the same exact place every time ? how about with CFLAGS="-O2" ?
Comment 3 Rumi Szabolcs 2007-03-24 14:00:22 UTC
Yes, I tried two times with the customised CFLAGS above and it broke
at the same place. Then I tried once with -march=athlon-xp replaced
by -march=i686 and all other flags untouched, the result was the same.
Now with CFLAGS="-O2" I got this:

/bin/sh /usr/src/tmp/portage/sys-devel/gcc-4.1.1-r3/work/gcc-4.1.1/gcc/../move-if-change tmp-attrtab.c insn-attrtab.c

Comment 4 SpanKY gentoo-dev 2007-03-24 21:26:13 UTC
this error:
Killed (program cc1)

means the kernel killed the application ... you should look at `dmesg` to see why, either way though, this is not a bug in gcc
