same here, downgrading to libtool 1.5.22 workarounded it, but unfortunately I don't know how to fix this. It seems to be libtool going mad with the big command line it's given as input.
I could reproduce the workaround you suggested.
probably assigned better like that
3.7.32 links fine with libtool 1.5.23b, so does the current stable. Closing as fixed
