After newly installing a gentoo-box on an HP proliant DL320 with tigon-NICs, i got this strange behavior: The kernel-log proclaims that eth0 and eth1 are found and initialised. But afterwards, they are not, what i found out after three painfull hours is, that eth2 and eth3 have been created?!?
