Are you sure you're actually using an ebuild from the tree? Because those ebuilds don't have anything at all to do with vimgdb. Also, what's your PORTDIR_OVERLAY? You seem to have intentionally omitted that from your emerge --info... I'm pretty sure you aren't using an official Gentoo vim ebuild, which makes this bug invalid. If that's not the case, feel free to reopen this bug.
