I'm cross building Gentoo system for i586 target and embedded profile. Package com_err wasn't included in dependency tree. Compile of ss fails.

Actually it was included. Library is present, but ss fails anyway. Manual emerge doesn't help.

Sorry. User error - misspelled sysroot directory.
