To bump net6 to 1.3.3 a simple rename is enough. The sobby-ebuild in the portage-tree needs several security fixes for the init-script: - password is given on command line (should use config file option) - sobby runs as root

Gustavo, if you lack time to keep Gobby current, then please orphan it. It's in our interest to see a current version in Gentoo, the version currently in is crashy anyway. Otherwise you could contact me privately if you need assistance wrt ebuilds. We created an overlay some months ago and we will start to actively promote it if the situation does not change.
Gustavo/Philipp: If you want, I could take over the package and do proxy-maintenance since I use gobby occasionally, maybe also more than that if it gets improved (diff-, undo-function)
